The cheek and temple area are the face anchors that determine the facial features. As we age, the facial fat pads (tightly packed, subcutaneous fat cells) diminish in the upper part of the face and become fuller in the lower face causing the skin to sag. Cheek contour treatment uses dermal fillers to fill and sculpt the saggy cheek area and lift the lower face while giving definition to the eye and brow area.

The substance that makes up the dermal fillers is found naturally in the dermis and is known for attracting water. The treatment provides hydration to the skin and restores a youthful appearance.

Dermal fillers are injected into the targeted areas using insulin gauge needles for minimum discomfort and maximum precision. The procedure can take 20 -40 minutes and the effects last for up to 9 -24 months.

Post treatment

Do not scratch, rub or massage the treatment area for at least 6-8 hours after getting the treatment.
Avoid consuming alcohol and tobacco for at least 24 hours after getting the treatment.
Do not engage in strenuous physical activity such as heavy exercise for at least 24 hours after the treatment.
Drink plenty of water. Hydration is important for getting the best results.
Do not apply makeup to the treatment area for at least 24 hours after the treatment.

Is it safe?

Yes. All the injectables that we use in our treatments are FDA approved so you can rest assured that they will not cause any harm to you. It is still important that you disclose your medical history during the pre-treatment consultation session with us.

Will it hurt?

No. The procedure does not cause any major discomfort and we will also use a topical anesthetic on the treatment area to ensure that you have a pleasant and painless experience. If you have any concerns regarding the treatment, we encourage you to discuss them in your consultation session.

When will I be able to go back to work?

The recovery time for this treatment is instant which means that you can resume all your daily activities without any problem. For the best possible results of the treatment, it is important that you follow the aftercare routine.
