Throughout the ages men and women have wanted to make themselves attractive, preserve the freshness of their youth, and even to turn back time. The signs of aging in the face and neck are based on a trilogy : sagging, wrinkles and atrophy.
Sagging in the neck occurs through loss of elasticity, manifests as loss of elasticity, and manifests as loss of tension and tone of the different components: skin, subcutaneous fat, aponeurosis and muscle.
Signs of Aging in the Neck:
- sagging skin, ptosis of the musculocutaneous integument
- loss of definition of the cervicomental angle with laxity
- arthropy
- horizontal cervical wrinkles
- platysma bands.
Injections with botulinum toxin are completely ineffective in patients presenting with cervical sagging and cutaneous ptosis.
Platysma bands:
This is certainly the best indication at the neck of botulinum toxin. Relaxation of the muscle fibers of the platysma bands enables their reduction or even dissapierance, as they no longer congregate in bands, barring the neck vertically, but contrary, integrate with relief and the slope of the neck, softening the cervical line.
Indications are:
Neck with sagging but with new marked bands, whether at rest or with movement.
Another excellent indication is as a complement to a facelift.

No. We make sure that the treatment is as comfortable for you as possible. Anti-wrinkle injections do not cause any major discomfort and to we will also use topical anaesthetics on the treatment area to make the treatment painless for you.

We only use FDA-approved anti-wrinkle injections and there is a considerable body of data that supports the efficacy of this treatment. However, if you are breastfeeding, pregnant, or have any underlying health problems then this treatment might not be suitable for you. Make sure to disclose all your health conditions during the pre-treatment consultation.
Your skin will simply go back to the way it was prior to the treatment. There will be no damage or deformation at the treated area. You can get a top-up to make the results last longer.
No, you can go back to work and normal activities straight after your treatment. There may be some slight small pimple-like lumps under the injection sites, which quickly dissipate after the procedure.
Botulinum Toxin injections are relatively safe when performed by an experienced practitioner. Possible side effects and complications may include:
- Pain, swelling or bruising at the injection site
- Headache or flu-like symptoms
- Body ache, and a rare allergy
- Droopy eyelid or cockeyed eyebrows
- Crooked smile or drooling
- Eye dryness or excessive tearing
Patients may notice asymmetry of face and muscles.
